These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website of Bohé and your purchase of goods from our webshop. By using or ordering from our site, you agree to these Terms.
1. General & Scope
1.1 This website is operated by Bohé, based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
1.2 Terms such as “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Bohé.
1.3 These Terms apply to private consumers (B2C). If you order on behalf of a business, additional terms may apply.
1.4 We reserve the right to change these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on the site, and your continued use after changes implies acceptance.
2. Orders & Contract Formation
2.1 When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase goods under these Terms.
2.2 A binding contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation.
2.3 If any item is unavailable after you place an order, we will notify you and you may cancel that item (with refund for that item).
2.4 We reserve the right to limit quantities, refuse orders, or cancel orders at our discretion.
3. Prices & Payment
3.1 All prices are in Danish kroner (DKK) and include Danish VAT (25%) unless otherwise stated.
3.2 Payment must be made via the methods provided at checkout. You authorize us to charge the full amount at the time of shipment (or earlier, depending on the payment method).
3.3 We do not add surcharges for credit/debit card payments.
3.4 Should VAT or taxes change, we reserve the right to adjust pricing accordingly, but not for orders already confirmed.
4. Shipping, Delivery & Risk
4.1 We ship to destinations within Europe only.
4.2 Delivery times vary by destination and product availability. Once your order ships, you will receive an email with tracking details.
4.3 Risk in the goods transfers to you at delivery (i.e. when goods reach the address you specified).
4.4 Bohé is not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs, or force majeure events.
4.5 For large or bulky items, special courier services may apply. Any additional delivery or handling costs incurred as a result will be charged to you. (you bear any additional cost).
5. Right of Cancellation, Returns & Refunds
Right of Cancellation
All products sold by Bohé are made to order and produced according to the customer’s individual specifications. In accordance with applicable consumer protection laws, the right of cancellation does not apply to custom-made or clearly personalized goods.
As a result, orders cannot be canceled, returned, exchanged, or refunded once an order has been confirmed and production has begun.
This does not affect the customer’s statutory rights in the event of defective or non-conforming goods (see Section 6).
6. Defects, Warranty & Claims
6.1 Under Danish law (Sale of Goods Act / Forbrugerkøbsloven), you have rights if goods are defective.
6.2 You can file a claim for defects within 24 months from delivery.
6.3 Remedies may include repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund, depending on the situation.
6.4 If a claim is accepted, we will also refund any reasonable shipping costs incurred in returning the defective goods.
6.5 To make a claim, contact Bohé with details including order number, description of defect, and images if possible.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under Danish or EU law.
7.2 To the fullest extent permitted, Bohé is not liable for indirect or consequential damages (e.g. loss of profit, loss of data), arising from your use of the site or goods.
7.3 Our total liability for direct damages is limited to the purchase price of the goods in question.
8. Intellectual Property & Use of Content
8.1 All content, images, designs, trademarks, and brand names on our site belong to Bohé or its licensors.
8.2 You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, display or use these materials without explicit permission.
8.3 Unauthorized use of Bohé’s intellectual property may give rise to a claim for damages.
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
9.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark.
9.2 Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms must be brought before a competent court in Denmark(unless mandatory law dictates otherwise).
9.3 For cross-border disputes within the EU, you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform.
